Man, I’ve been digging into this whole Dave Justice baseball card thing lately. It’s a wild ride, let me tell you.
First off, I started by trying to figure out who this Dave Justice guy even is. Turns out, he’s a former Major League Baseball star, played for the Braves, Indians, Yankees, and Athletics. Retired back in 2002. Seems like he was a pretty big deal, a consistent .280 hitter, and get this – the dude’s apparently worth $40 million! I mean, who would have guessed it?
So, naturally, I got curious about these cards. I started looking around, trying to find out what they’re worth. And the prices are all over the place! I found one place saying the average value is around $10.09, with some selling for as low as $0.47 and others going for a whopping $346.75. What?
Then I checked another source, and they’re saying the average is $2.79, with a range from $0.55 to $136.27. Still a pretty big spread, right? And just when I thought I was getting a handle on it, I found another average of $8.14, with cards selling between $0.77 and $102.99. Seriously, it’s like trying to catch a greased pig. Then I found out that there is also a 1990 Donruss #704 Dave Justice and its price is updated daily. I was like, what? It changes every day?
But I didn’t give up. I kept digging. I even looked up “1990 TOPPS TRADED Dave Justice – Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA)Tags:ToppsAuction”. I learned that PSA stands for “Professional Sports Authenticator” and they’re apparently the big shots in card grading. They seem to deal with a lot of Topps cards.
So, here’s what I’ve gathered:
- Dave Justice was a big-time baseball player.
- His cards have a wide range of values, and it is kind of hard to get a clear picture.
- There’s a 1990 Donruss #704 Dave Justice card with daily updated prices.
- “1990 TOPPS TRADED Dave Justice” seems to be another popular card, and PSA is involved in grading these cards.
It’s a lot to take in, and honestly, I’m still trying to make sense of it all. But it’s been a fun little project, and who knows, maybe I’ll stumble upon a hidden gem in my own collection!
Anyway, that’s my update for now. I’ll keep you all posted if I find out anything more. It’s a wild world out there in the land of baseball cards, that’s for sure.
