Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called a “Destiny 2 simulator armor” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride. I’m not the most tech-savvy guy, but I love tinkering, you know? So, the other day, I was thinking about how I could really optimize my Guardian’s stats in Destiny 2.
I started by looking around for tools, and I stumbled upon this website – I think it was called GuardianForge or something like that. It seemed promising because it lets you search for other players and check out their setups. I spent a good few hours just browsing, seeing what kinds of crazy builds people have come up with. You wouldn’t believe some of the combinations out there!
Then, I found another tool called “D2 Armor Picker.” This one was even cooler because it helps you pick out the best armor pieces from your own inventory to meet your stat goals. I was pretty pumped about this because I’ve got a vault full of gear that I never really knew what to do with. So, I dove right in.
First, I had to select my class and subclass – I’m a Warlock main, by the way, and I’ve been running Solar lately. It’s a whole different game with the right setup. After that, the tool showed me a bunch of stats, like Resilience, Recovery, Discipline, and so on. I spent a while messing with these, trying to figure out what I wanted to prioritize. I ended up wanting to max out Resilience and have a good amount of Recovery. I think that’s a pretty solid combo.
The tool then did its magic and showed me a list of armor pieces that would help me reach my desired stats. It even tells you what mods you need to slot in to get there. It’s pretty wild – like having a personal stylist for your Guardian! I also learned about mods by looking into a guide I found, which was super helpful for a dummy like me.
I also noticed that you can see all sorts of detailed breakdowns of your build. Like, how abilities interact with each other, which weapons are a good fit, and even how to tweak things depending on the activity. I didn’t dive too deep into this yet, but it’s definitely something I’ll explore later on.
So, I spent a few hours doing this, swapping gear, trying different mods, and generally just having a blast. I even found some cool combinations that I never would have thought of on my own. It’s like putting together a puzzle, except the puzzle is made of guns and armor and space magic.
Now, there were some hiccups along the way. Sometimes the tool would suggest stuff that didn’t quite make sense, or it would be a little slow to update. But overall, it was a pretty smooth experience. Oh, and the whole process was a bit overwhelming at first because there’s just so much you can tweak.
Here’s what I ended up with:
- Resilience: 100 (gotta be tough!)
- Recovery: 70 (gotta heal up quick!)
- Discipline: 50 (grenades are fun!)
It’s not perfect, but it’s a huge improvement over what I had before. I took my new setup for a spin in a few activities, and let me tell you, it felt amazing. I was surviving longer, getting my abilities back faster, and generally just wrecking things. It’s like a whole new game when your build is really dialed in. So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Destiny 2 armor simulator thing. It’s definitely something I’ll keep playing around with. I think anyone who’s serious about Destiny 2 should check it out.
It really lets you personalize your Guardian and make them your own. Plus, it’s just fun to tinker and see what you can come up with. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little story. If you’ve got any cool armor builds, let me know – I’m always looking for new ideas!
