Alright, folks, gather ’round. Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been taking up a lot of my time lately: David Beckham’s FIFA cards. Yeah, you heard that right, the football legend himself. I’ve been digging deep into this, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride.

And those ratings! Some of Beckham’s cards are rated as high as 99. Now, I’m no expert, but I figure higher numbers mean a better player, right? And 99? That’s just insane! I started to understand why people get so hyped about these cards.
Then I got into the nitty-gritty: the SBCs. To get Beckham into your Ultimate Team, you gotta complete seven of these Squad Building Challenges. Each one has its own requirements, its own little puzzle to solve. I spent days, literally days, trying to figure out the cheapest way to complete these SBCs. I was swapping players, comparing prices, driving myself crazy.
I even found out about this special TOTY Icon card of Beckham. It’s a Right Midfielder card, but get this, you can change him into a Central Midfielder or a Right Winger! I messed around with this for hours, trying to see how it affected my team’s performance. It’s like having a different player each time.
And then there’s the FIFA 22 Mid ICON card. It’s got an overall rating of 89, and it’s supposed to reflect all those goals he scored with his Adidas boots. I spent a good chunk of time just admiring this card, thinking about all those iconic moments in Beckham’s career.
But the one that really got me excited was this 86-rated Special Edition card in FIFA 21. It’s a free card, can you believe it? Free! I jumped on that immediately, and let me tell you, it was worth it. It felt like I had a piece of football history right there in my virtual team. I played games just to see him in action. Even for free it was challenging but I did get this!
And here’s a tip for anyone trying to complete the Mid Icon SBC for Beckham: it’s got seven separate tasks. Each one took me a while to figure out, but I eventually got through them all. It was tough, it was frustrating, but it was also super satisfying when I finally completed it. I felt like a real FIFA pro, even though I’m just a regular guy who loves football. I even checked out some online stores, just to see what else was out there. It’s crazy how much stuff you can find. I didn’t buy anything, but it was fun to browse and see all the different Beckham-related items. Reminds me of back in the day, collecting football stickers.
