Alright, so the other day I was thinking I needed to get in shape, and a buddy of mine told me about this guy, Mark Sears, a basketball player down in Alabama. I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, I’ve got nothing to lose, right?
So, first things first, I started looking up this Mark Sears guy. Turns out, he’s a pretty big deal in college basketball. Plays for the Houston Cougars. I went through a bunch of websites, just trying to get a feel for his stats, his schedule, all that jazz. I even dug into some game scores to see how he’s been performing.
- Checked out his team’s schedule for the 2024 season.
- Looked at his stats – points, assists, you know, the usual.
- Even browsed through some news articles about him.
After I got a good handle on who this Mark Sears is, I decided to try and find some information about his training. No luck. Instead, I got a ton of information that I didn’t need. You know how it is, one search leads to another, and before you know it, you’re down some rabbit hole.
Anyway, I did find some obituaries from the Toronto Star. Not really what I was looking for, but hey, it was something. I ended up spending a good chunk of time just browsing through those, offering condolences and stuff. It was kind of a somber turn, but it’s life, you know?
Digging Deeper
Next, I stumbled upon this website, W3Schools. It’s like a goldmine for learning web stuff. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python – you name it, they’ve got tutorials on it. I’ve always wanted to learn a bit of coding, so I got sidetracked for a while, going through their lessons. They’ve got these exercises too, which are pretty neat.
- Started with some HTML basics.
- Then moved on to a bit of CSS.
- Even dabbled in JavaScript for a bit.
Now, this is where it gets a bit technical. I was messing around with a website I’m building, and I ran into some issues. Some forum suggested renaming a file, .htaccess, to _.thaccess, to see if it fixes things. And if it does, then disable and re-enable “friendly URLs.” I tried it, but still could not get it working. I mean, this is way over my head. I ended up just leaving it alone. I spent way too much time on this stupid website issue.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure trying to get in shape by following Mark Sears’s routine. I ended up learning a bit about web development and getting lost in some online tutorials, but hey, that’s life, right? Always expect the unexpected!
