Okay, folks, gather around, I’m about to tell you about my latest adventure with this “Decor Splash Down” thing in Monopoly GO. I’m not much of a gamer, but this one got me hooked. Started playing just yesterday, June 26th, when I saw some buzz about it online.
So, the deal is, you gotta land on these railroad spots on the board. Sounds easy, right? Well, it kinda is, but that’s just the start. Once you hit those railroads, you get to play these mini-games. There are two of them, and they’re not too shabby. I spent a good chunk of yesterday just hopping around the board, trying to hit those railroads.
Now, here’s the kicker. You earn points by playing these mini-games, and these points help you reach different milestones. Each milestone has some goodies, like dice rolls, cash, and what not. The more you play, the more milestones you hit, the more stuff you get. I managed to collect a decent amount of dice rolls throughout the day. The final milestone gives you a lot of stuff, at least that is what I read.
I started late at night around 11:30 PM, just messing around. I found that the trick is to really aim for those railroads. I spent a good hour just going in circles, trying to land on them. It is a bit of a grind, but hey, it’s kind of fun in a weird way. I think I played for a few hours, and I was already seeing the rewards pile up. It is nothing crazy, but it is a good start.
This whole “Decor Splash Down” thing is only supposed to last for a day, so it’s like a mad dash to get as much as you can. I’m not sure if I’ll hit all the milestones, but I’m definitely gonna give it a shot. I heard that you can earn up to 4,255 dice rolls.
My strategy? Just keep rolling and focus on those railroads. I ignored everything else and just went for those railroad spots. And, honestly, it was pretty fun. I wasn’t expecting to get this into a mobile game, but here I am. It’s a little embarrassing, but I’m actually enjoying myself. I might even keep playing after this event is over. It’s a good way to kill some time, I guess.

It is now the next day, I managed to snag most of the rewards and got a bunch of dice rolls. It was fun, might do it again in the future.
