Okay, so, about this “Black Myth: Wukong” game, I’ve been digging into it, and I wanna share my thoughts on this whole “when should I ring all bells” thing.
First off, I started by just jumping into the game. No guides, no nothing. Just wanted to see what it was all about. Played through the first few areas, got a feel for the combat, and explored a bit. I messed around in the “Forest of Wolves” and “Bamboo Grove.” Then I found the “Black Wind Cave,” It was pretty cool. This game, man, it’s got some serious “Journey to the West” vibes, which I’m all about.
But then I hit a wall. I kept getting my butt kicked. Like, repeatedly. That’s when I caved and started looking up some guides. Turns out, there’s a whole bunch of stuff I missed. I found a website, I can’t tell you the website’s name, but it said “Everything you’ll need for 100% game completion in Black Myth: Wukong will be included.” They had guides for everything, even NPC quests and stuff.
So I started following these guides. It was kinda overwhelming at first, all these steps and strategies. It was mentioned “This is a complete walkthrough guide for Black Myth: Wukong that covers all six chapters and locations in the game.” This made me realize that I hadn’t even scratched the surface. I learned about the six chapters, and that I was only in the first one, “Black Cloud, Red Fire.” There’s also a “Prologue,” and a “Yellow Sand” chapter, and probably a bunch more I haven’t even heard of yet.
And the bells? Man, that’s a whole other thing. Turns out, there are these bells scattered throughout the game, and you gotta find them and ring them in the right order to unlock secrets and get special items. I only know about a few like refined iron sand, I do not know if there are other bells. I found some info about collecting “four pieces of refined iron sand.” But these guides were all like, “Do this, then do that, then go here, then ring this bell.” It’s a lot to keep track of!
Here’s what I’ve gathered about the bells so far:
- There’s a bunch of them, not just one or two.
- You gotta ring them in a specific sequence.
- Ringing them unlocks stuff, but I’m not 100% sure what all of it is yet. I have to check those things next time.
- It’s tied to the main story somehow.
- You need to complete some side quests first, one of the side quests is mentioned in a website I found. It says “The first step: Sanate Bound and the Drunken Ball Quest.”
Honestly, I’m still figuring it all out. This game is way deeper than I thought. It’s like, you think you’re just playing a cool action game, but then you realize there’s this whole other layer of puzzles and secrets. And I still don’t know when exactly I should be ringing these bells. I’m guessing it’s different for each one, and maybe you gotta find clues in the environment or something. I will keep playing and share more next time.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with “Black Myth: Wukong” and the bells so far. It’s a wild ride, and I’m just getting started.
