So, I was looking into this wrestler, Cooper Corder, and wanted to share some stuff I found. It seems like there was a bit of drama around him recently.
I started by digging up some basic info. What I found was, that he’s a 14-year-old kid who wrestles at SPAR Wrestling Academy. It looks like he’s been in the news because of a match he had with Hafid Alicea from Maine West High School.
The match itself, from what I gathered, didn’t go so well for Cooper. He lost 14-2 in a freestyle match. That’s gotta be tough, right? But that wasn’t the end of the story.
I stumbled upon a video from the Wrestling Spot. It showed Cooper extending his hand to Hafid after the match, you know, like a good sport. But instead of shaking hands, Hafid just straight-up sucker-punched him. Can you believe that? I was really shocked.
- Cooper lost the match 14-2.
- After the match, Cooper offered a handshake.
- Hafid punched Cooper instead of shaking hands.
I dug a little deeper and it turns out this video caused quite a stir. It seems that many people think that’s just plain wrong. Poor Cooper, right? I learned the good news was that the kid is okay, thankfully.
It’s just wild to see something like that happen in a wrestling match. But I hope it doesn’t discourage Cooper from continuing to wrestle. Anyway, I just wanted to share what I found about this Cooper Corder situation.
