Okay, so today I’m diving into the 1.15 update for the new factory’s chemical part 3. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey.

First off, I started by going over the patch notes. As usual, they were kind of vague, but I did see some things about new quests and map changes. I figured this would be the perfect time to explore and see what’s up.
Then I jumped into a raid, aiming to hit up the usual spots for chemical spawns. I was used to finding them in certain areas, but man, was I in for a surprise. Things were not where they used to be. I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around, trying to get my bearings.
After a few raids, I noticed some new areas that looked promising. There were these new rooms and corridors that I definitely didn’t remember from before. I decided to poke around there, and that’s when I found the first chemical container. It was tucked away in a corner, pretty well hidden. It felt like I was a real-life detective or something.
But it wasn’t just about finding the chemicals. The update also changed the AI behavior. I encountered some scavs who were way more aggressive than before. They were flanking and using cover like pros. It was intense! I had to really up my game to deal with them.
I also checked out the interactive maps for Escape From Tarkov to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. They’re super handy for finding exits and loot, but even those maps didn’t have all the new changes marked yet. I even went through the quest tree for all traders like Prapor, Therapist, and that lot, but nothing really matched what I was seeing.
I tried to look up some info on the specific quest IDs like “Gendarmerie Mall Cop: 64e7b99017ab941a6f7bf9d7” and “Gendarmerie Tickets Please: 64e7b9a4aac4cd0a726562cb.” Found a bit about them, but nothing solid. People were saying “Gendarmerie District Patrol” might not even be in the game. Gee, thanks for the help.
So, I went back in, this time more prepared. I brought better gear and more meds, knowing that I’d be facing tougher AI and probably spending more time in raids. I focused on exploring those new areas thoroughly.
Eventually, I managed to complete the chemical part 3 quest. It took a lot of trial and error, and a few deaths, but I did it. It was a grind, but man, it felt good to finally figure it out.

Here’s what I learned:
- The new update really changes things up. Don’t rely on old knowledge.
- The AI is tougher, so be prepared for a fight.
- New areas are key. Explore them thoroughly.
- Interactive maps and quest trees are helpful, but they’re not always up-to-date.
- It’s a grind, but it’s doable.
This is just my experience, and I just wanted to share my experience and process, so your mileage may vary. Good luck out there, and happy raiding!
