Okay, so I was messing around on the internet today, and I stumbled upon this name, Rita Williams-Ewing. I didn’t know who she was, but the name sounded a bit familiar. So I did what anyone else would do and started digging.
Turns out, she’s the ex-wife of this famous basketball guy, Patrick Ewing. I’m not a huge sports fan, but even I’ve heard of him. They were married for like, ten years, and then they split up back in 1998. During that time, they had three kids together.

I started looking into each of the kids, just to see what they were up to. The youngest, Patrick Ewing Jr., seems to have followed in his dad’s footsteps and played some basketball himself. Randi, though, I couldn’t find as much info on what she does.
Then I tried to learn more about Rita herself. There’s not a whole lot out there, honestly. She seems to keep a pretty low profile, which is understandable. I did find out that she’s American and Patrick’s parents are from Jamaica, so I guess that makes him Jamaican-American. Anyway, it’s interesting to see how even though she was married to a celebrity, she’s managed to stay relatively out of the spotlight.
So, that’s pretty much all I found out about Rita Williams-Ewing today. It was a fun little rabbit hole to go down, and it’s always cool to learn something new, even if it’s just a random bit of celebrity trivia. Honestly, it is a little bit boring, but I just like to research people I randomly think of.
