Okay, so, I gotta tell you about this whole announcer thing for the Iowa game today.
First off, I wanted to know who was gonna be calling the game. You know, the play-by-play and color commentary guys. So, I hit up the internet, started poking around.
- Started with a simple search. Typed in “announcers for Iowa game today.”
- Found a bunch of results, some about the NFL, some about college football.
- One result mentioned this game’s on NBC, which is cool. It said Noah Eagle’s doing the play-by-play. Apparently, he’s been covering a lot of the Big Ten games.
Then I dug a little deeper. Saw another result, this one about the game being on the Big Ten Network. It named Mark Followill and Anthony Herron as the announcers. Now, I’m thinking, which one is it? NBC or Big Ten Network? Gotta figure this out.
Kept scrolling, found another article. This one was talking about a different Iowa game, one against Illinois State. But it got me thinking, maybe the announcers change depending on the network or something.
Found another piece about the Pop-Tarts Bowl, which, honestly, sounds delicious. It was talking about Miami and Iowa State, not the Hawkeyes, but still, football, right? Got me thinking about all the different bowls and how they have different announcers.
Then, I stumbled upon something mentioning Eric Collins and Spencer Tillman. They were calling a Troy vs. Iowa game, which is also not today’s game, but it listed FS1 as the channel. More confusion! Different channels, different announcers, it seemed.
Finally, I found this blurb that just said the Iowa Hawkeyes are playing at Kinnick Stadium. No mention of announcers, but at least it confirmed the location.
So, after all that searching, I’m still not 100% sure who’s announcing the game today. It’s all like a puzzle I have been trying to piece together for a while. I guess I’ll just have to tune in and find out! It’s all part of the fun, I suppose.
