Okay, so I went to the Von Braun Center Gun Show today. I got up pretty early, and I drove down to the Von Braun Center. Parking was a pain, as usual for these things, but I managed to find a spot about a block away.
I walked into the convention center, paid my admission fee, and headed inside. It was packed! There were rows and rows of tables with all sorts of stuff. I saw guns, ammo, knives, all kinds of gear. I spent a good hour just browsing, checking out different vendors and seeing what they had.
Main Hall
- I started in the main hall, where most of the big dealers were. Lots of rifles and shotguns there. I wasn’t really looking for anything specific, just wanted to see what was out there.
- I talked to a few of the vendors, asked some questions about different models. Some of them were really knowledgeable, others, not so much.
Smaller Rooms
- After that, I wandered into some of the smaller rooms. There were more individuals selling their own stuff there, some antiques and collectibles.
- I found a guy selling old military surplus gear, which was pretty cool. I ended up buying a vintage ammo pouch from him.
I spent another couple of hours just walking around, soaking it all in. There were a lot of people there, all different types. I saw families, couples, older folks, younger folks, you name it. It was a real mix of people.
By the afternoon, I was pretty tired. My feet were killing me! I decided to call it a day. I didn’t end up buying any guns, but I did get that ammo pouch. Overall, it was a fun day. It’s always interesting to go to these shows and see what’s out there. If you’re into guns or just curious, I’d say it’s worth checking out.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the food there is really bad and expensive. I recommend that you eat before you go to there.
Anyway, that was my day at the Von Braun Center Gun Show. Hope you enjoyed the story.
