Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another adventure. This time, I dove headfirst into the Arcane Tower in BG3, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. So, grab your snacks, get comfy, and let me walk you through how I cracked this puzzle.
Starting Out
First off, I stumbled upon this tower, all mysterious and whatnot. Right away, I knew there was more to it than met the eye. I wandered around, found some weird mushrooms, and after some tinkering, I realized these shrooms were key.
The First Puzzle
I noticed that the tower’s elevator was busted. No power. After poking around, I found a bunch of those glowing mushrooms outside. I grabbed a few, thinking they might come in handy, and headed back inside.
- Discovered the generator thingy on the ground floor.
- Realized I had to use those mushrooms to power it up.
- Threw a mushroom in there, and bam! Power’s back on.
Bernard and His Poetry
So, the elevator worked, and I went up. I met this, like, animated armor dude, Bernard. Seemed hostile at first, but then I saw a bunch of books lying around. I started reading them, and guess what? Bernard’s all about that poetry life.
- Read a line from one of the books.
- Bernard chilled out and gave me a quest, sort of.
- Figured out I had to find specific lines from different books to get through to him.
The Right Lines
This part was tricky. I had to find the right lines to answer Bernard. After some trial and error, I figured out the correct order. It felt like cracking a code, honestly.
- “There is a light in every living thing.” – Got a hint from Bernard.
- “Or art thou but a dagger of the mind, a false creation…” – This one unlocked a path.
- “The silence stretches on – I’m all alone.” – Bernard revealed more of the tower’s secrets.
- “How can I trust? How will I ever know? How can I show myself, my darkest me?” – And finally, Bernard stepped aside.
The Treasure
After dealing with Bernard, I headed to the top of the tower. And there it was, the treasure! A staff and a ring, just sitting there. I grabbed them, feeling pretty proud of myself. It wasn’t just about the loot, though. It was the thrill of solving the puzzle that really got me.
- Found the Staff of Arcane Blessing.
- Snagged the Guiding Light ring, which apparently helps with finding secret doors.
Wrapping Up
So, that was my adventure in the Arcane Tower. It was a blast, figuring out all those puzzles and getting to know Bernard. It’s moments like these that make gaming so much fun. Hope you enjoyed my little walkthrough. Catch you in the next one!
