Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for some decent golf shorts. You know, the kind that don’t make you look like you’re stuck in the 90s but also don’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve heard a lot about PGA Tour stuff, so I figured I’d give their men’s shorts a shot.
First off, I checked out a few different stores in my area. I hit up a couple of sporting goods places and even browsed through some department stores. Nothing really jumped out at me, either the styles were outdated or the prices were just crazy.
Then, I decided to check online. After some digging around, I found a few options that looked promising. I mainly focused on finding shorts that were advertised as moisture-wicking and had some stretch to them – gotta have that flexibility on the course, right?
I ended up ordering a couple of pairs of PGA Tour shorts from a larger online retailer. One was a more classic, solid color design, and the other had a bit of a subtle pattern. They arrived pretty quickly, which was a plus.
Trying Them Out
Right out of the package, they felt pretty good. The material was lightweight and seemed breathable. I tried them on, and they fit true to size, which is always a relief. They weren’t too tight or too baggy, just a nice, comfortable fit.
I wore them around the house for a bit just to get a feel for them. I did a few stretches and some practice swings, and they moved really well. The stretch in the fabric definitely made a difference.
The Real Test
Of course, the real test was taking them out on the course. I played a round of 18 on a pretty warm day. These shorts held up great. I stayed relatively cool and dry, even though I was sweating a bit.
- They didn’t ride up or bunch up in any weird places.
- The pockets were deep enough to hold tees, my ball marker, and my phone without feeling bulky.
- I washed them after, they came out looking brand new, no shrinking or fading, which is great.
All in all, I’m pretty stoked about these PGA Tour shorts. They’re comfortable, they perform well, and they don’t break the bank. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re in the market for some new golf shorts. They’re a solid choice for any golfer who wants to look and feel good on the course.
