So, today I decided to mess around with something I haven’t really touched before – a crossword puzzle. But not just any crossword, this one was all about tech, and it was called “exec in tech crossword.” Sounds kinda fancy, right?
First off, I went on a hunt to actually find this thing. I mean, where do you even get a tech-themed crossword puzzle? I went to find some online resources. After some searching, I stumbled upon a few websites that had these kinds of puzzles. I picked one that looked kind of interesting, I found it.
I started by reading through all the clues. I gotta say, some of them were pretty easy and some of them were really tricky. I mean, I know my way around a computer, but some of these clues were about tech history or some specific programming terms I haven’t heard of.
Here’s how I tackled it:
- I started with the easy clues. There were a few that I got right away, and it felt good to fill in those first few boxes.
- Then, I moved on to the ones that I knew but wasn’t quite sure about. I did a little bit of online searching, just to double-check my answers and make sure I was on the right track.
- Next up, there were a few clues that had me completely stumped. This is where things got interesting. I started looking up some of the topics mentioned in the clues. You know, just casually reading up on tech stuff, like I do every day… not!
- I used some of the letters I had already filled in from the easier clues to try and guess the harder ones. It’s like a puzzle within a puzzle!
I spent a good chunk of my day working on this thing, off and on. It wasn’t something I finished in one sitting, that’s for sure. But, little by little, I started filling in more and more of the puzzle.
Aha! Moments
There were a few times where a clue just clicked. Like, I’d be reading about something totally unrelated, and then suddenly I’d be like, “Wait a minute, that’s the answer to that one clue!” Those moments were pretty satisfying, I’m not gonna lie.
Honestly, it was way harder than I thought it would be. But I learned a bunch of new stuff about tech that I didn’t know before. And it was kind of a fun way to challenge myself and keep my brain busy.
I’m still not done with the puzzle, but I’m pretty close. It’s become my little side project. Maybe I’ll even try to find another one of these tech crosswords when I’m done with this one. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a crossword whiz or something!
