Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Habitat Heroes” thing pop up in Monopoly GO, and honestly, I was kinda clueless. Figured I’d dive in and see what the fuss was about. So, I started by, well, opening the app – duh! – and there it was, a new event banner splashed across the screen.

First thing I did was tap on the banner. It took me to this screen with, like, a bunch of tiles and different animal habitats. Seemed pretty straightforward. My mission, should I choose to accept it (and I did!), was to collect these special “paw print” tokens.
How did I get these paw prints? Well, I noticed they were popping up on the regular Monopoly board, just like the usual cash and dice. So I just started playing as normal – rolling the dice, landing on properties, building houses, you know, the usual Monopoly grind.
Every time I landed on a tile with a paw print, I collected it. Pretty simple, right? But here’s the thing, it wasn’t every tile. They seemed to be clustered around certain areas of the board, so I started to get a little strategic about where I wanted to land. I was really trying to avoid those pesky jail and tax tiles!
- Roll the dice!
- Land on spaces with paw print tokens.
- Collect those tokens!
As I collected more paw prints, I could see my progress on the Habitat Heroes screen. There were different milestones, and each one unlocked a reward – extra dice, cash, even some of those shield things. I’m a sucker for free dice, so I was pretty motivated.
My Progress
It took a few hours of playing, on and off, but I finally hit all the milestones! I have to admit I felt a little bit of victory. Felt good for getting all reward, but at the same time, I’m not a professional gamer, I think it takes some times.
So, that’s my experience with Habitat Heroes in Monopoly GO. It’s a fun little addition to the game, and a good way to snag some extra rewards. If you’re playing Monopoly GO anyway, you might as well go for those paw prints!
