Okay, so I’ve been tweaking my golf bag setup lately, and I thought it’d be fun to share what I’ve learned from checking out Adam Hadwin’s gear. I’m no pro, but I love geeking out over clubs and trying to improve my game. Here’s how I went about it.

My Deep Dive into Adam Hadwin’s WITB
First, I spent some time online looking at those “What’s in the Bag” articles and videos about Adam Hadwin. You know, the ones where they go through every club he’s using. Man, there is so much information!
I started by listing all of his clubs. It’s a pretty standard setup, but with some personal choices that make it interesting.
- Driver: Something that gives him good distance, but also control. I paid close attention to the shaft he’s using, too.
- Fairway Woods: These are important for those long second shots, right? I wanted to see what lofts he uses.
- Irons: I checked out what kind of irons he plays – are they blades, cavity backs, or something in between? The specific model tells you a lot.
- Wedges: The lofts on his wedges are super important for short game. I looked closely at those numbers.
- Putter: Everyone’s got a different preference here, so I was curious to see what style he goes with.
- Ball: I also take a look at which model of golf ball he use.
After I had the list, I started thinking about my own game. What are my strengths and weaknesses? Where do I struggle on the course?
Then, I compared Hadwin’s setup to my own. For example, I noticed he uses a specific shaft in his driver that’s supposed to help with accuracy. My driver’s been a bit wild lately, so I thought, “Hmm, maybe I should look into that.”
I also noticed the lofts on his wedges. He’s got them dialed in pretty precisely. I, on the other hand, have some pretty big gaps between my wedges. That could explain why I sometimes struggle with those in-between distances.
So, I didn’t just copy his entire bag. Instead, I used his setup as inspiration. I thought about how some of his choices might help my specific game.
I am still testing things out. It’s all about experimenting and finding what works best for you, right?

It’s a work in progress, but it’s been a fun learning experience. Checking out what the pros use can give you some good ideas, even if you’re just a regular golfer like me.
