Okay, so I wanted to mess around with this “CB Bucknor” thing today. I’d heard some chatter about him, mostly people griping, so I figured, why not dive in and see what’s what?
First, I started by just hitting up the usual spots – you know, the sports news sites, maybe some baseball forums. Just to get a general feel for who this guy is and what the fuss is about.
It’s did’t take long to find the basic information–he is an umpire, and many baseball fans are not his fans.
Digging a Little Deeper
Then I moved on to see the history of him. It looks many years ago,he was good, but now…not so good!
- Lots of complaints about inconsistent calls.
- Some mentions of specific games where he supposedly made bad calls.
- A general feeling that he’s past his prime.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my deep dive into CB Bucknor. I poked around, gathered some info, and formed my own little opinion. I am not a baseball fan, so I could understand him without emotion.
