Alright, guys, so I’ve been grinding away at MLB The Show 24, and I finally figured out how to snag that elusive crown icon. It wasn’t super obvious, so I figured I’d share my little journey here, and maybe it’ll help some of you out.
First, I jumped into Diamond Dynasty. That’s where all the online action is, and the crown icon is tied to your online ranking.
Getting Started
- I started playing Ranked Seasons. This is the main competitive mode.
- I battled my way through a bunch of games. Some wins, some losses, you know how it goes.
- I started from the bottom, which is the “Spring Training” division. The goal is to climb the ranks.
The Grind
I kept playing, and I won’t lie, it was a grind. I experimented with different lineups, tried out various strategies, and slowly but surely, I started to see my rank improve.
The important thing I noticed is that it wasn’t just about winning, but you gain more rating points, which I figured out it’s key to the next step.
The Crown!
Finally, after what felt like forever, I hit the “Championship Series” division. And there it was! The game automatically awarded me the crown icon next to my username. It was a pretty sweet feeling, I’m not gonna lie. It was also cool to show it off to other player, and I did that for a while.
