Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of shaving puns. It started with a simple thought while I was, you know, shaving. I figured, “Hey, there’s gotta be some good jokes about this, right?”

I jotted down some basic ideas that popped into my head, like playing on words like “cut,” “close shave,” “edge,” and stuff like that. My goal was to get a feel for the landscape of shaving humor, a rough overview of the territory, I will map in detail later.
Digging Deeper: Categorizing the Puns
After I had a bunch of puns, I started to organize them. I noticed some were about beards, some were about the act of shaving itself, and some were just general wordplay related to sharpness or cutting.
