Okay, so I’ve been messing around with F1 24, trying to nail down a decent setup for Qatar. It’s a tricky track, with those long straights and some pretty tight corners. Here’s what I did, and how it worked out for me.

Starting Point
First, I jumped into Time Trial mode. This is always my go-to when testing setups. No pressure from other cars, just me and the track. I did a few laps with the default setup, just to get a feel for things and see where the car was struggling.
Tweaking the Aero
The default setup felt pretty loose, especially in the faster corners. So, my first move was to bump up the front and rear wing angles. I went up a few clicks on each, not too drastic, just enough to give the car a bit more downforce.
Suspension Adjustments
Next up, the suspension. The car was bottoming out a bit on the kerbs, so I stiffened up the front and rear suspension a little. I also played around with the anti-roll bars, making the front a bit softer to help with turn-in. I am trying to improve the balance.
Transmission Tuning
Qatar has some long straights, so I focused on getting the power down efficiently.I fiddled with the on-throttle differential, making it a bit more locked to improve traction out of the slower corners. Also, I unlocked the off-throttle because that’s important.
Tyre Pressure & Camber
I usually don’t mess with tyre pressures too much initially, but I did tweak the camber angles. I added a bit more negative camber on the front tyres to help with grip in the corners. It is my try.
Brake Bias
Braking is crucial in Qatar, especially into those tight hairpins. I shifted the brake bias a little bit forward, which seemed to help me stop the car more *’s significant.
Testing and Refining
After each change, I went back out on track and did a few more laps. It’s all about feeling the difference and seeing if the lap times improve. I kept making small adjustments, one at a time, until I found a setup that felt comfortable and fast.
Final Thoughts
It took a while, but I eventually found a setup that I was happy with. The car felt much more stable through the corners, and I was able to carry more speed onto the straights. It’s still a work in progress, and I’m sure I’ll keep tweaking it, but for now, it’s a good starting point for anyone struggling with Qatar.
