Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get some decent gloves for a while now, and I finally decided to try out those ONX gloves everyone’s been talking about. I’m no pro boxer or anything, but I like to hit the heavy bag at the gym, and my old gloves were, well, let’s just say they’d seen better days.

Getting Started
First things first, I ordered them online. It was pretty easy, just picked my size (went with the 16oz, figured more padding couldn’t hurt) and waited. They arrived in like, three days? Not bad.
First Impressions
Right out of the box, these things looked pretty sweet. I got the black ones, and they have this nice, sleek design. They felt a bit stiff at first, which I guess is normal for new gloves. I slipped them on, and man, the wrist support felt solid. That was a big plus for me, ’cause I’ve had some wrist issues in the past.
The Test Drive
- Round 1: I started slow, just jabbing at the bag. The gloves felt a little awkward at first, like I said, stiff. But after a few minutes, they started to loosen up.
- Round 2: I started throwing some hooks and crosses. The padding felt great – really absorbed the impact. My knuckles weren’t screaming at me, which was a nice change.
- Round 3: Okay, now I was getting into it. I went all out, throwing some combinations, really laying into the bag. The gloves held up great. No pain, no discomfort, just solid protection.
Warp Up
After my workout, I took the gloves off. My hands were a bit sweaty, but nothing crazy. The lining inside seemed to do a decent job of wicking away moisture.I am so happy that I have new gloves.
Final Thoughts
So, are these ONX gloves worth it? Yeah, I’d say so. They’re definitely an upgrade from my old ones. They feel durable, they offer good protection, and they look pretty cool too. I’m no expert, but for a regular guy like me who just wants to get a good workout in, these gloves are a solid choice.
