Okay, so today I decided to tackle something I’ve been putting off for a while: figuring out what the heck is going on at 211 Jeter St. I mean, I drive past it every day, and it’s always got something going on. Sometimes there’s a bunch of cars, sometimes it’s totally empty. It’s been driving me nuts!
First, I started by just doing a basic drive-by. Slowed down, really looked at the place. It’s a pretty standard-looking building, nothing fancy. Not a house, not really a store… kind of in-between.
Then I got on my phone and did some digging. Looked it up on maps, tried to find a business listing, anything. Nada. Zilch. It’s like the place doesn’t even exist on the internet.
So, I decided to go full detective mode. I parked down the street and just…watched. I know, I know, it sounds creepy, but I was curious! I sat there for a good hour, pretending to read a book (which, by the way, was super boring).
And you know what? People started showing up. Not a ton, but a few. They’d go in, stay for like 20-30 minutes, and then leave. No one was carrying anything, no deliveries, nothing like that. Hmm…
My Crazy Theory
- It is a poker club.
- It is a book club.
- It is a secret meeting place.
I still have NO idea what’s happening but I’ve narrowed it down to a few pretty solid theories. I’m probably way off, but hey, it was fun playing detective for a day. Maybe I’ll try again next week and see if I can crack the case!
