Okay, so the other day I was hanging out with my buddies, and we got into this random discussion about wrestlers. Somehow, we ended up on the topic of CM Punk, and one of my friends, out of nowhere, asks, “Hey, do you think CM Punk is gay?” I was like, “Whoa, where did that come from?”
Honestly, I had never really thought about it before. I mean, I’ve watched him wrestle for years, seen his interviews, followed his career moves, but his sexual orientation? Never crossed my mind. So, I decided to do a little digging, just out of pure curiosity, you know?
First, I started with a basic search. I just typed in “CM Punk” and some related keywords. I scrolled through a bunch of articles, interviews, and fan forums.
My little research
- I looked at some interviews first. My thought was that if he mentioned anything, it would be in an interview. I watched a bunch of them.
- Found nothing.
- Then I moved on to some articles, just reading stuff people wrote about him.
- No luck there either.
- I even checked out some fan forums, thinking maybe someone there would have some insight. Nope.
It was all pretty much speculation and gossip. Nothing concrete. And, to be honest, I felt a little weird about it. Like, does it even matter? It’s his personal life, right?
After spending a bit of time on this, I realized I was kind of wasting my time. There was no clear answer, and frankly, it’s not really my business anyway. I figured, he’s a great wrestler, an entertaining personality, and that’s all I really need to know.
So, I told my friend, “Dude, I don’t know, and honestly, I don’t think it matters. He’s awesome either way.” We moved on to talking about something else, and that was that. The whole thing made me think about how we sometimes get caught up in these random questions about people’s personal lives when it doesn’t really affect anything.
