My first move was, naturally, to just Google it. I typed in something like “Yankees announcers today YES Network”. I got a bunch of results, but most were just general schedules or articles about the announcers, not specific to today. Strike one.
Digging into the YES Network Website
Next, I figured I’d go straight to the source. I went to the YES Network website. I poked around the schedule section, thinking it would list the announcers there. Nope. Lots of info about what was playing, but not who was calling the game. Strike two.

Alright, time to get a little more creative. I figured someone on social media, must know. I hopped on X (used to use Twitter) and searched for things like “#Yankees announcers” and “@YESNetwork”. I scrolled through a bunch of posts, mostly just fan chatter. I did see a couple of people mentioning the usual crew, but nothing that confirmed it for today. Getting warmer, but still no cigar.
Checking Fan Forums and Reddit
Then I went down the rabbit hole of fan forums and Reddit. I figured, if anyone knows, it’s the die-hard fans who live and breathe this stuff. I browsed a few Yankees subreddits and some general baseball forums. I saw some discussions, again, mostly about the usual lineup of announcers. Still, no definitive answer for today’s game.

I was scrolling for what felt like forever. And someone respond to a post about today’s game mentioned who was announcing the game today! Finally got the answer I am looking for!
It was a bit of a scavenger hunt, but that’s how it goes sometimes. In the end, I got my info.
