Okay, so last night I was totally glued to the Phillies game against the Nationals. I’ve been following both teams a bit this season, and I had a feeling this one might be interesting.

I started by grabbing my usual game-night snacks – gotta have those! Then, I settled into my comfy chair and flipped on the TV. Right from the first inning, things got wild! Alec Bohm and Nick Castellanos went back-to-back with home runs. Seriously, it was amazing! Bohm’s went like 403 feet! That set the tone immediately. I think Turner and Harper also scored in that rally.
Throughout the game, I kept checking the scores and stats. It was pretty one-sided, to be honest. The Phillies were just crushing it. I’m pretty sure they scored in almost every inning. My feed kept updating, showing me all the key plays, hits, and runs.
I remember one point when Weston Wilson was a name I was hearing and he did the cycle! Made a note to look this guy up some more after this.
- The first inning was awesome!
- Wilson hit for the cycle, I think.
- Phillies had a great game all around.
In the end, the final score was 13-3, a total blowout. Not the most competitive game, but definitely exciting to watch the Phillies dominate like that. I kept thinking, “Wow, they’re really on fire tonight!”
My Final Thoughts
It will be worth looking out to see if they keep playing at this level!
