Today, I decided to look up “Georgios Frangulis.” I’ve heard the name before, but I didn’t really know who he was. So, I went straight to the source everyone uses: Wikipedia.
First, I opened up my browser and typed in “Georgios Frangulis Wikipedia” into the search bar. The Wikipedia page was the first result, so that was easy!
I clicked on it and started reading. It’s always a bit of a gamble with Wikipedia, you never know how much info you’re going to get. Sometimes it’s super detailed, other times it’s just a stub.
- It was a surprisingly short article. Just a few paragraphs.
- I found out the basic stuff, like he was a Greek tennis player.
- Apparently, he played in the 1896 Olympics. That’s a long time ago!
- There are some details on his match at the 1896 Olympics, include the score etc.
Here is what I found
I skimmed through the text. Honestly, there wasn’t a ton of information. It gave me a basic overview, but I definitely didn’t become an expert on Georgios Frangulis. I guess if I wanted to know more, I’d have to do some more digging, maybe check out some other websites or even books. But for a quick overview, Wikipedia did the job!
