First Steps – What Even Is This?
First, I had to figure out what I was even dealing with. “Cale” I kinda knew, like the vegetable, right? But “cabbiness”? No clue. I did a quick search – turns out it’s not really a thing. Like, it’s not a common word or anything. That made it more fun, honestly.
The Experiment Begins

I thought about how “cabbiness” sounds. It’s kinda… fluffy? Round? So I tried to make my kale drawings look more “cabiney”. I added more curves, made them overlap, like a messy, green ball of *’s get more round and messy!
Adding Some… “Flavor”
Then, I started writing little phrases. Stuff like:

- “Embrace the cabbiness.”
- “Cale-tastic cabbiness!”
Just silly stuff, you know? I even made up a fake definition for “cabbiness”: “The state of being delightfully and overwhelmingly kale-like.” See? Totally made up, but it fits.
Making it Visual
I grabbed some colored pencils – mostly greens, obviously. I started coloring in my kale doodles, trying to make them look extra “cabbiney”. I used different shades of green, some light, some dark, to give it some depth. Think… really leafy.
The Result?
In the end, I had a page full of weird, wonderful kale drawings, all inspired by this made-up word, “cabbiness.” Did I create a masterpiece? Nope. Did I have fun? Absolutely.
