Okay, so the other day I got into this whole thing about figuring out how old WWE wrestlers are. It started because I was watching some old matches and was like, “Man, how long has this guy been around?”

First, I jumped on to Google. I figured, “Someone must have a list, right?” I mean, I love checking in my age from time to time. You know, just simple searches, nothing fancy. And yep, found some stuff, but it was all scattered.
Digging Deeper
So, I started getting a little more serious. I went to some of those dedicated wrestling news sites. You know, the ones with all the rumors and backstage gossip. They usually have profiles of all the wrestlers, so I started clicking around. And it’s easy to collect all of the wrestlers that you admire. I began to write down the name that came to my mind.
- Wrestler 1
- Wrestler 2
- Wrestler 3
I made a little list in my notebook. Nothing fancy, just names and then I’d jot down their ages next to them as I found them. It was kind of a pain switching between tabs, but it was working.
Getting Organized(A Little)
After a while, my notebook was getting messy. So I thought, “Why not use a spreadsheet?” I’m no Excel wizard, but I know the basics. So I opened a new sheet and started typing in the names and ages. Much cleaner!
Then I decided to get a little fancier. I added a column for their debut year. I figured that would be interesting to see, like how long they’ve actually been wrestling. Again I looked up online for their debut year.
Realizations
It was actually pretty cool seeing it all laid out. Some of these guys, they’ve been wrestling for decades! It really puts things into perspective, you know? Like, you see them on TV every week, but you don’t always realize the sheer amount of time they’ve put into their careers. And some of the younger ones, it’s amazing to see how much they’ve accomplished in a relatively short time.
Anyway, I think I was satisfied with the result, so I saved it for the future and just stopped right there.
