Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea of making a “map of PUBG.” Not like, an in-game map, but more like… a visual representation of all the places, how they connect, maybe even some strategy stuff. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.

Getting Started Was a Mess
First, I just started by taking screenshots. Lots and lots of screenshots. I dropped into Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Sanhok – you name it, I was there, furiously snapping pics from every angle I could think of. My desktop became this chaotic jumble of images, and I quickly realized this wasn’t going to work on its own.
Figuring Out the Layout
Then I had to, like, piece it all together. I used this basic image editing software I use for making memes, it lets you put images together. I started with Erangel, because, well, it’s the classic. I tried to arrange the screenshots so they kind of matched the actual in-game layout. It was like a giant, pixelated jigsaw puzzle, and honestly, it looked terrible at first.
It took me a long, painful while to stick all the pieces together. It’s so tedious, like I’m doing kindergarten art class all over again. Adjusting the angles, making sure I have the full picture of the place…
Adding Some Details
Once I had a rough “map” for each location, I started thinking about what else I could add. I figured it would be cool to mark down, like, common loot spots, good sniping positions, maybe even where people tend to get into fights a lot. You know, useful stuff.
- Loot Hotspots: I marked these with little red dots. Think School, Pochinki, Military Base – the usual suspects.
- Sniping Spots: These got little crosshair icons. Anywhere with a good view, like those towers or hills.
- Danger Zones: I used skull icons for these. Places where you’re almost guaranteed to run into other players.
I spent like, hours just staring at these maps, trying to remember where I always found good loot or got ambushed. It was kind of fun, actually, like reliving all those crazy PUBG moments.
It’s Still a Work in Progress
Honestly, this “map of PUBG” thing is still very much a work in progress. It’s not perfect, it’s kind of messy, and it’s definitely not as detailed as some of those professional guides you see online. But it’s mine, you know? It’s like my personal record of all my PUBG adventures, all the wins and losses, all the crazy stuff that’s happened.
I might try to clean it up more, add more details, maybe even try to make it interactive somehow. But for now, it’s just this cool little project that’s helping me see PUBG in a whole new way. It’s like I’m not just playing the game anymore; I’m kind of studying it, learning its secrets. It’s pretty awesome.
