Okay, so I wanted to put together a quick reference for the 2016 Oregon Ducks football roster. I remember that season being a bit of a rollercoaster, and I figured it would be cool to have all the names in one place. Here’s how I went about it:

Finding a Reliable Source
First things first, I needed to find a good source of information. I didn’t want to rely on some random website that might have incorrect info. I started by searching online, and it brought up some sports news websites.
Digging Through the Information
Once I found a website I wanted to use. I started searching for the roster. It was mostly organized by position, which made sense.
Compiling the List
I opened up a simple text editor and started copying and pasting. I went position by position, making sure to grab the player’s name, number, and year (Freshman, Sophomore, etc.). It was a little tedious, but I wanted to be thorough.
- Quarterbacks: I made a section for the QBs.
- Running Backs: Then I did the running backs.
- Wide Receivers: Copied over all the wide receivers.
- And so on… I kept going through all the positions – offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, and even the specialists (kickers, punters, etc.).
Double-Checking and Cleaning Up
After I had copied everything over, I went back and double-checked to make sure I hadn’t missed anyone or made any typos. I also cleaned up the formatting a bit to make it easier to read. It’s not pretty, but it’s functional!
And I think it’s kind of a cool snapshot of that 2016 Oregon Ducks team.
