Alright, so I saw this thing floating around, “Bows and Bandits Monopoly Go Peg-E,” and I was like, what the heck is that? I’m always up for trying new stuff in Monopoly Go, especially if it might mean more dice or stickers. So, I decided to give it a shot.
First, I googled around a bit. Saw some chatter on Reddit and a few YouTube videos, nothing super clear, but enough to get me started. Seemed like it was some kind of event or mini-game inside Monopoly Go.
I opened up the game on my phone. I already play quite a bit, level 3000+, so no starting from scratch. I looked around the main screen, all the usual stuff was there – daily treats, quick wins, the usual tournaments.
Then, I noticed a little icon on the right side of the screen, it was a picture and word, I click in and then jump to a new page. It looked… different. It was like a shooting range or a carnival booth. It said “Peg-E” at the top. Okay, this had to be it.
I tapped on it, and it showed me this whole new screen. It was indeed like a plinko board, I tap it.
- There were these little bumpers all over, like a pinball machine.
- At the top, there were drop zones where you could drop these little… tokens? Chips? I wasn’t sure what to call them.
- At the bottom, there were different slots with rewards – dice, cash, sticker packs, and even those purple shield things.
I figured I had to drop those tokens and try to land them in the good slots. I had a few tokens to start, I think they gave them to me for free. I picked a drop zone at the top, kind of in the middle, and let it go.
The token bounced around like crazy! It was kind of fun to watch, even if it was totally random. It finally landed in a slot that gave me some cash. Not bad, but I wanted those dice!
I tried a few more times, experimenting with different drop zones. Some seemed better than others, but honestly, it felt pretty random. I did manage to land a few in the dice slots, which was awesome. I even got a sticker pack!
I played for maybe 20 minutes, using up all the free tokens they gave me. I did get a message saying I could earn more tokens by completing tasks in the main game, like landing on certain tiles or completing my daily wins.
My takeaway?
It’s a fun little distraction. Don’t expect to get rich or anything, but it’s a nice way to potentially snag some extra goodies. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and grab those free tokens whenever I can. Might even complete some that game to get more tokens and play the game.
