Okay, so I’ve been hyped about Ashes of Creation for a while now, and I really wanted to get into Alpha 2. Here’s how I went about trying to join, and what I learned along the way.
Figuring Out the Basics
First, I had to do some digging. I knew getting into Alpha 2 wasn’t going to be as easy as just clicking a “download” button. I spent some time on their official website and forums, reading everything I could find.
I quickly found out that access to Alpha 2 is primarily through buying specific pre-order packs, or winning contests, giveaways. There are a few ways to get in, and I wanted to explore all my options.
The Pre-Order Pack Route
This seemed like the most straightforward path, although also the most expensive. Intrepid Studios, the game developers, offered several pre-order packages.
- Wayfarer Pre-Order Pack. I am not have much money,so I did not to join it.
- Expeditionary Pre-Order Pack.Also I did not choose this package, it’s still not guaranteed to get me into Alpha 2.
- Voyager Pre-Order Pack.This is the one with guaranteed access.
- Intrepid Pre-Order Pack.It’s so expensive!
I considered my budget. I looked at the Voyager pack, I hesitated. I want to get into the Alpha.I bought it!
Waiting and Hoping
After purchasing my pack, I had a key. All I could do was wait and hope that one of those keys would grant me access.
The Final Result (For Now)
I’ve been enjoying the testing, exploring the world, and giving * game is still very much in development.
