Okay, folks, let’s talk about how I finally figured out this whole Peacock thing for watching Ohio State games. It’s been a bit of a journey, so grab a drink and settle in.

First, I gotta admit, I was totally lost. I kept hearing about games being “exclusively on Peacock” and I was like, “What the heck is Peacock?” I’m used to the usual channels, you know? ESPN, Fox, the Big Ten Network… So, step one was just figuring out what Peacock even was.
Turns out, it’s a streaming service, like Netflix or Hulu, but owned by NBC. Okay, cool, I can handle that. I’ve signed up for streaming services before. No big deal, right? Well, kinda.
So I went to the Peacock website. Signing up was easy enough. Found the “Sign Up” button, entered my email, created a password, the usual stuff. Then came the payment options.
Subscription Time!
I chose to pay a little extra to avoid all of the * worth it, in my opinion.
Once I was in, I had to find the actual game. The interface is pretty straightforward. They have a “Sports” section, and usually, the Ohio State game is featured pretty prominently, especially if it’s live.
- Checked my internet connect
- went to the Peacock website
- signed up
- Found Ohio State Game
And that was it! I finally got to watch the game. Honestly, the biggest hurdle was just wrapping my head around the fact that I needed another streaming service. But once I got past that, it was pretty smooth sailing. I’ve used it a few times now, and it’s become pretty routine.
