Okay, so I wanted to figure out who’s gonna win this Athletics vs. Braves game. I’m no expert, but I like to think I can make a decent guess, so I decided to do some digging and see what I could come up with.
My “Deep Dive” Process
First, I just checked out the team records. You know, the basic stuff.
- Athletics: Not looking so hot this season, a lot more losses than wins it appeared.
- Braves: These guys are doing pretty well, Way more wins.
Just based on that, I’m already leaning towards the Braves. But, I wanted to get a little more info, so I started looking at some recent games.
I checked out the last few games each team played. Looked at the scores, who they played against, all that. The Braves have been winning a lot recently, against some pretty good teams. The Athletics, well, not so much. They struggled in their games.
I also quickly glanced at any major player news. Like, are there any big injuries? Anybody on a hot streak? I make sure that important players are all playing.
Making My Prediction
After all that, I felt pretty good about predicting a Braves win. I mean, they’re just the better team right now, by the looks of simple analysis. Of course, anything can happen in baseball. A pitcher could have a terrible day, a batter could get lucky, whatever. But if I had to put money on it, I’d go with the Braves.
So, that’s my process. It’s not super scientific, but it’s fun to do, and it seems it makes common sense. I did it for fun, Go Braves!
