Okay, so the other day, I was totally stumped by a crossword clue: “I don’t believe it!”. I stared at it, racked my brain, and nothing. It was driving me nuts!
First, I tried to think of synonyms. Like, “No way!” or “Unbelievable!” But the spaces didn’t match. I had 5 empty boxex, and I kept counting it, and retry to find the words to fit it.
Then, I started to look for patterns. I looked at the crossing words to see if any letters gave me a hint. There was an ‘O’ in the second position,so I try some easy words in my mind, but still nothing seemed make sence.
So, I decided to take a break. Sometimes, you just need to step away, you know? I went to make a cup of tea and browsed a bit on my phone for fun.
The Moment!
When I came back, and have a fresh look on it. I stared at the paper, and try another time to read it loud, then, It suddenly hit me. “OMG”! That’s it! It’s not a phrase, it’s a reaction!

- Third Letter:G
I quickly fill it and test. Bingo! I filled it in, and it fit perfectly. The relief! It’s always the simple things that trip you up, right?
From then, I learned a lot! Step back and have a rest, and come back later! it always works!
