Okay, so I was in the mood for a little brain teaser, and I thought, “Why not combine my love for hair colors with a crossword?” I mean, who doesn’t love a good crossword, right? So I decided to make my own “hair color crossword”.

First things first, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Yeah, I’m old school like that. I could’ve used some fancy online tool, but sometimes, plain paper is just easier. I started by sketching out a grid. Nothing too crazy, just a simple square.
Then came the fun part – thinking of clues! I wanted a mix of easy and tricky ones. For example, I used “sun-kissed strands” for “blonde”. A bit obvious, maybe, but hey, gotta start somewhere. Then I got a little more creative with “raven’s wing” for “black”.
- “Fiery redhead’s nickname?” – That’s “ginger”, of course.
- “A mix of blonde and brown?” – Hello, “bronde”!
- “Color of a clear sky?” – It is a clue of “silver”.
I filled in the grid, making sure the words intersected nicely. It took some juggling, and a few erasures, but I eventually got there. The trickiest part was making sure all the words fit without any awkward gaps. I think I spent a good hour just tweaking the layout.
I realize it is kind of fun, and I am quite pround of myself to have fininshed the crossword, I mean, come on, I have spent much time on it.
My final thought
It is super fun for me today to have this crossword done, maybe I will continue to make some new ones.
