Alright, so I wanted to make one of those “Yamamoto Disappointed” memes. You know, the one from Bleach where Captain Commander Yamamoto looks super let down? I figured it’d be fun to try and recreate it, and I could probably use it for some reactions online.

Finding the Right Image
First things first, I needed the base image. I just went on an image search and typed in “Yamamoto disappointed.” Lots of screenshots came up, and I picked one that had a good, clear shot of his face. I wanted one where he’s really got that “I’m not mad, just disappointed” look perfected. I saved that image to my desktop, ready to go.
Adding the Text
Next, I needed to add the text. I’m no Photoshop expert, so I just used an online meme generator. There are tons of them out there. I uploaded the Yamamoto image I saved.
Then came the text part. Usually, these memes have some text at the top setting up the situation, and then something at the bottom that’s the “disappointing” punchline. I thought about what I wanted to use it for. I spend a lot of time online, so i decided to make it about online arguments.
- I typed in “When you spend an hour crafting the perfect online argument…” at the top.
- Then, at the bottom, I added “…and they reply with ‘K’.”
I played around with the font size and placement a bit to make sure it looked good and didn’t cover up Yamamoto’s face too much. You want that expression to really shine, you know?
Final Touches and Saving
Once I was happy with how it looked, I hit the “Generate” button (or whatever it’s called on the site you use). The site did its thing, and then I downloaded the finished meme. It was a JPG file, perfect for sharing.
And that’s it! Pretty simple, really. Now I’ve got my own custom Yamamoto Disappointed meme to use whenever the internet inevitably disappoints me. Which, let’s be honest, is pretty often.
