Okay, so I was trying to figure out the last time the Bills actually won the Super Bowl. I’ve got some buddies who are HUGE Bills fans, and they’re always going on about the glory days, so I wanted to get my facts straight. You know, be able to throw some knowledge back at ’em.
First, I just did a quick search. I mean, that’s what everyone does, right? Typed in something like “Bills Super Bowl wins”.
Digging Deeper
Turns out after searching online, the Bills have never actually won a Super Bowl.
But there * actually appeared in four consecutive Super Bowls, from 1991 to 1994. That’s insane! Imagine the hype, the excitement… and the heartbreak.
- Super Bowl XXV (1991): Lost to the New York Giants, 20-19.
- Super Bowl XXVI (1992): Lost to the Washington Redskins (now Commanders), 37-24.
- Super Bowl XXVII (1993): Lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 52-17. Ouch.
- Super Bowl XXVIII (1994): Lost to the Dallas Cowboys again, 30-13.
So next time those Bills fans are bragging, I guess I can hit them, they have never actually won a super bowl. They made it to four… and lost every single one. Crazy, right?
