Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my putting lately, and I decided to give the Spider Ghost White putter a try. I’d heard some good things, and honestly, the all-white look was pretty intriguing.

First thing I did was head to the local golf shop. I wanted to get a feel for it, you know? See how it sits, how the weight feels in my hands. They had a few different models, but the Ghost White just… called to me. It’s got this clean, minimalist vibe that I really dig.
I spent a good 30 minutes on their practice green, just rolling putts. The first thing I noticed was the alignment. That white head against the green grass? Super easy to line up. I felt like I could really see the path to the hole.
- The Feel: It’s got a nice, soft feel off the face. Not too clicky, not too mushy. Just right, Goldilocks style.
- The Weight: It has the weight that i perfer, I feel very good.
- The Roll: The ball seemed to roll pretty true. I wasn’t getting a lot of skidding or hopping, which is something I sometimes struggle with.
After the shop, I took it out to my home course for a real test run. I played a full 18, paying extra attention to my putting. And honestly? I was impressed. I definitely sank a few putts that I might have missed with my old putter. I’m not saying it’s a miracle worker, but it definitely felt more consistent.
My routine changed a little.
I started focusing more on my setup, making sure I was really lined up correctly. That white head made it so much easier to visualize the line. And I think that, combined with the putter’s feel, helped me make a smoother stroke.
Drove to the practice green a few more times that week. Just kept working on those short putts, getting comfortable with the feel and the alignment. It really is kind of calming, almost meditative, just rolling those putts over and over again.
Now, it’s still early days. I’m not going to claim I’m suddenly a putting wizard. But I’m definitely feeling more confident on the greens. I’m excited to keep using the Spider Ghost White and see how much more I can improve. I’m thinking this could be a game-changer for me, at least on the putting green.
