Okay, so I’ve been playing a ton of Grand Theft Auto 5 lately, right? And I thought, “Hey, I know this game pretty well, why not test myself?” So, I decided to make my very own Grand Theft Auto 5 quiz. Let me tell you, it was more work than I initially thought, but also super fun!

First, I brainstormed all the different categories I could include. I wanted it to be challenging, you know, not just the easy stuff everyone knows.
- Characters: Obviously, I needed questions about Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. But I also wanted to include some of the side characters, like Lester, Ron, and even that weirdo yoga instructor.
- Story Missions: There are so many iconic missions in the game. I tried to pick out some of the more memorable ones, but also a few obscure ones to really test people.
- Locations: Los Santos is HUGE. I wanted to test knowledge of specific places, like, “Where is the Maze Bank Arena located?” Stuff like that.
- Vehicles: Gotta have questions about the cars, bikes, planes, and all that good stuff!
- Radio Stations: This was a fun one. I love the radio in GTA 5, so I added some questions about the different stations and hosts.
- Weapons: From the basic pistol to the heavy-duty stuff, weapons were a must-have category.
After getting a solid list of categories, I started writing the actual questions. This took the longest, honestly. I spent hours going back through the game, replaying certain missions, and just driving around to make sure I got the details right. I even consulted some online forums and wikis to double-check some of the more obscure facts.
I tried to make a mix of question types, too. Some were multiple-choice, some were true/false, and a few were fill-in-the-blank. I wanted it to be varied and engaging, not just the same format over and over.
The Question Writing Struggle
The hardest part? Coming up with wrong answers for the multiple-choice questions! You want them to be plausible, but not actually correct. It’s a delicate balance, let me tell you. I didn’t add question example here, because it contains answer.
Once I had all the questions written down, I typed them all up. I originally wrote my question on my notebook, and I transfer it to my text editor.
Finally, I tested the quiz out on a few of my friends. They gave me some good feedback, pointing out a couple of questions that were a little too confusing or had unclear answers. So, I went back and tweaked those. It’s always good to have a second set of eyes (or several!) look things over.
After all that, I had a fully functioning, pretty challenging Grand Theft Auto 5 quiz! It was a lot of work, but it was also a really fun project. It definitely made me appreciate all the details that went into making such a massive and intricate game.
