Alright, folks, let’s talk about this Monopoly Go Corsair Cup thing. I dove in headfirst, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster!
Getting Started
First, I made sure my Monopoly Go app was updated. You know how it is, gotta have the latest version for these events. Then, I jumped into the game, and bam, there it was – the Corsair Cup banner. I tapped on it, feeling pretty pumped to see what it was all about.
The Grind
The basic idea? Complete tasks, roll the dice, and collect those little shield tokens. The more shields you grab, the higher you climb on the leaderboard. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, let me tell you, it got competitive. I found myself checking the app every few hours, making sure I wasn’t falling behind.
I started by focusing on the easy tasks, like landing on certain property spaces. I used my highest dice multipliers when I was close to a target to increase my chances.
Some of the tasks that I completed were:
- Landing on Chance, Community Chest and Railroad.
- Go around the board a few times.
- Shut down some landmarks!
The Rewards and Finish
As I collected those shields, I started unlocking milestones and getting rewards. Mostly, it was extra dice rolls and cash, which, you know, is always welcome in Monopoly Go. It kept me motivated to keep pushing. I really wanted to be top 10!
In the end, after some good playing and luck. I finished within the top 10, and my rewards have been added to my account. Time well spent!
