Alright, so I got this wild idea to somehow combine Bad Bunny and Randy Arozarena. Don’t ask me why, it just popped into my head. Two totally different worlds, right? One’s a music superstar, the other’s a baseball phenom. But hey, I figured, let’s see what happens!
The Brainstorm
First, I spent some time just brainstorming. I jotted down everything I knew about both of them. Bad Bunny: reggaeton, Puerto Rico, fashion icon, crazy energy. Randy Arozarena: Cuban, Rays outfielder, power hitter, that insane postseason run. Totally different vibes.
My initial thought was some kind of visual mashup. Maybe Arozarena at bat, but with Bad Bunny’s signature sunglasses and colorful outfit? Or Bad Bunny on stage, but with a baseball bat instead of a microphone? It all felt a little… forced, you know?
Digging Deeper
So I decided to go a bit deeper. I started looking for common ground. Turns out, they’re both incredibly passionate about what they do. They both have this infectious energy that draws people in. And they both represent their cultures with pride.
That’s when it hit me: it wasn’t about forcing them together visually. It was about capturing that shared energy, that sabor, that feeling of being unapologetically yourself.
The (Somewhat Abstract) Result
Instead I decided on the following steps:
- Took a video clip of Arozarena hitting a home run. Just pure power and excitement.
- Found a super hype Bad Bunny song. Something with a driving beat and that unmistakable swagger.
- Layered the song over the video. Simple, but effective.
I messed around with the timing a bit, trying to sync the boom of the bat with a drop in the music. It wasn’t perfect, but it definitely got the energy across.
In the end it felt less like that I merged the two, it felt more like that I captured that both Bad Bunny and Randy Arozarena just do their thing, and they do it well. They’re both at the top of their game, and they both bring this incredible energy to what they do. My little experiment was just a way to highlight that, in a slightly unconventional way.
