Okay, so I’ve been hyped about the Curry 11s, but I saw some leaks about the Curry 2k24 and I was like, “Hold up, gotta try these out.” First thing I did was hit up the usual spots online, trying to find some early info, release dates, colorways – you know, the usual sneakerhead drill.

After digging around for a bit, I finally got my hands on a pair. I went with the classic black and white, can’t go wrong with that. When I unboxed them, the first thing that I noticed was the build quality. It feels…premium, you know? Like, the materials felt really nice.
So, I laced them up. The fit? Pretty true to size, I’d say. I have slightly wider feet, and they felt snug, but not in a bad way. I wore them around the house for a day, just to get a feel for them before taking them to the court.
On-Court Action
Alright, the real test. I took these out for a pickup game, some 3-on-3 action. First impression on the court? Traction was insane. Seriously, I was cutting and stopping on a dime. No slippage at all. The cushioning felt good too. Not super bouncy, but definitely responsive. I felt like I could really push off and explode to the basket.
- Traction: 10/10. Seriously grippy.
- Cushioning: Responsive, not overly bouncy.
- Fit: True to size, snug but comfortable.
- Support: Felt locked in, no ankle rolls or anything.
- Looks: Clean. I dig the minimalist design.
After a couple of hours of playing, my feet felt fine. No hot spots, no blisters, nothing. That’s a good sign. I’m pretty rough on my shoes, and these felt like they could handle it. Honestly. I was impressed. I am going to keep playing around with these.
