Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Town Hall 9 attacks in Clash of Clans for a while now, and I wanted to share some of the strats I’ve been using. I’m not a pro or anything, but these have been working pretty well for me.
GoWiPe
First up, the classic GoWiPe. This one’s been around forever, but it’s still solid. I usually start by dropping a couple of Golems to soak up damage. I spread them out a bit so they don’t all get taken down by the same splash damage.
Then, I send in some Wizards behind them to start clearing out buildings. The key here is to funnel properly. I use Wall Breakers to open up compartments, making sure my troops go where I want them to, and not just wander around the outside.
Once the outer buildings are going down, I deploy my P.E.K.* and my heroes. They charge into the core of the base, hopefully taking down the Town Hall and other key defenses.
For spells, I usually bring a couple of Rage Spells to boost my troops’ damage and speed, and a Heal Spell to keep them alive longer. Sometimes I’ll swap a Rage for a Jump Spell if I need help getting into a specific compartment.
- 2 Golems
- 2-3 P.E.K.*
- 10-15 Wizards
- Wall Breakers(as many as i need)
LavaLoon
Next, there’s LavaLoon. This one is all about air power. I start with a Lava Hound to tank for my Balloons. I usually send it towards an Air Defense that’s kind of on the edge of the base, so it doesn’t get shredded by everything at once.
Then, I flood the base with Balloons. I try to spread them out so they don’t all get hit by splash damage, like Wizard Towers. The idea is to overwhelm the defenses with sheer numbers.
For spells, I mostly use Haste Spells to get my Balloons to the defenses quickly. I might also bring a Rage Spell to boost their damage, or a Poison Spell to deal with Clan Castle troops.

Hog Rider
Last are Hog * are fast!
I will find giant bomb,and use some hog trigger it.
After I make sure it is safe,I will send all of my * Heal Spell is important,I have to drop it before my hog run into dangerous area.
- 30+ Hog Rider
- Wizards(clean up)
- All Heal Spells
These are just a few of the attack strategies I’ve been using at Town Hall 9. Remember to scout the base carefully and adjust your army composition and spells accordingly. Practice makes perfect, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t get it right away. Just keep trying, and you’ll be crushing bases in no time!
