Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “Horns Down” shirts everywhere, especially around college football season. I’m a huge fan, so I wanted to make my own, you know, put my own spin on it. So, I started messing around to create my own “horns down shirts”.

First, I brainstormed some ideas. Should I go with a classic design? Maybe something more abstract? What colors did I wanted to use? What style?

After I made some sketches, I decided to go with something bold, I sketched out a few ideas on paper, trying to visualize what I wanted.
The Design Process
Next step, I fired up my computer. I used to make some simple designs, So, I made my design based on my sketches.
I played around with different fonts and layouts until I got the words “Horns Down” looking just * took a few tries to get it perfect. I’m really picky about this stuff!
Then it was time to choose the shirt. I went with a plain, because I figured it would make the design stand out more. I ordered a few different sizes online, just in case. I even thought about trying different colors, but finnally, I chose red.
Printing attempt
I tried printing one, using the iron and the “Horns Down” image I made on the computer. I was so excited.
I carefully followed the instructions, making sure the iron was hot enough and that I applied enough pressure. I printed the design onto the shirt, making sure everything was lined up correctly.

But when I finished, it looked kind of faded and * wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t perfect either. I think I might need to practice my ironing skills!
It’s not professional quality, but it’s definitely got that handmade charm. And hey, it’s unique! No one else will have a shirt exactly like mine.
Anyway, I wear my “Horns Down” shirt to the games, and I always get some laughs from the people around me. That’s really the best part!
