My Journey with Jade’s Lightcone in Honkai
Alright, let’s talk about this new lightcone, the one for Jade. I finally managed to get my hands on it the other day. Wasn’t easy, you know how the pulls can be sometimes, but there it was. Shiny new thing in my inventory.

First thing I did, obviously, was just look at it. The art’s pretty nice, gotta say. Then I checked the stats and the passive ability. Looked like it was really built around follow-up attacks and maybe helping out with energy, plus some Crit Rate. Seemed pretty specialized, definitely made for Jade herself, which makes sense.
So, I thought, okay, let’s give it a whirl. I had Jade using a decent 4-star Erudition cone before, nothing fancy but it did the job. I took that off and equipped this new signature one. Didn’t level it up right away, just wanted to see how it felt at level 1 compared to the maxed 4-star.
I took Jade into a few Calyx runs first, just simple stuff. Then I tried some Forgotten Hall stages I’d already cleared. What I noticed pretty quick was the buff to follow-up damage. You could kinda feel it? The numbers popping up from her extra attacks seemed a bit beefier. It wasn’t like a night-and-day explosion, but it was noticeable.
Testing it out more:
- Ran it through Simulated Universe next. That’s usually my go-to for seeing how things perform in longer fights.
- The Crit Rate buff was actually pretty helpful. Made hitting those crits a little more consistent without needing perfect relics.
- The energy part… honestly, I didn’t feel a huge difference right away? Maybe it helps smooth things out over a really long battle, but it wasn’t super obvious in shorter fights.
- The main thing was definitely the boost to her follow-up attacks. That felt like the core benefit.
After messing around with it at low level, I decided it was worth investing in. So, I started dumping resources into it, getting it up to level 80. That’s when you really see the difference, mostly from the higher base stats like HP, ATK, and DEF. The ATK jump alone made all her damage go up, not just the follow-ups.
Now that it’s maxed out, yeah, it feels really good on Jade. I haven’t really tried putting it on other Erudition characters like Himeko or Herta. The passive seems so tied to how Jade works, especially the follow-up part, that I figured it wouldn’t be as good on them. Maybe it’s okay? But feels like a waste if you have Jade.
So, my final thoughts? It’s a solid lightcone, definitely her best one if you have Jade. It boosts her main gimmick (follow-ups) and gives useful stats like Crit Rate and raw ATK. It makes building her a bit easier too. Was it worth the pulls? For me, yeah, since I planned on using Jade a lot. It feels like a good upgrade from the 4-star options, makes her feel more complete. It does exactly what it says on the tin, tailored specifically for her kit.
