Alright, so today I decided to tackle the Loldle puzzle again. It’s become a bit of a morning routine, you know, grab some coffee and see if I can guess the League champion stuff.
Figuring Out the Classic Champ
First up was the classic mode. I stared at the blank input box for a bit. My first guess? Totally off. Like, wrong region, wrong gender, wrong everything. The game gave me the usual clues, pointing out how far off I was.
So, I tried again. This time I focused on the position hint. Okay, let’s say it hinted towards ‘Support’. I wracked my brain for supports. Threw another name out there. Closer this time! Got the position right, maybe the release year was closer too. It showed me those green boxes for the correct properties which always feels good.
The species clue was helpful. If it said something like ‘Yordle’, that really narrowed it down. Or maybe ‘Human’. That’s less helpful, haha. I kept making guesses based on the feedback:
- Wrong region? Okay, think about champions from the correct region shown.
- Wrong release year? Was it older or newer? Adjust my guesses.
- Wrong resource type? Mana, energy, none? That helps too.
It took me, maybe, five or six tries today for the classic one. I started piecing together the clues: region, role, maybe a hint from the attack type (ranged/melee). Finally, a name popped into my head that seemed to fit all the green and yellow clues I’d gathered. Typed it in… Boom! Got it. Felt pretty good to see all green.
Other Loldle Puzzles
Then I peeked at the other modes. The quote one is always tricky. You gotta really know your champion voice lines. I listened, thought hard, and made a guess. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t. Today was a miss, honestly.
The ability icon one? Same deal. Recognizing those tiny pictures is harder than you think, especially for older champs or ones I don’t play often. Took a couple of tries but I managed to snag that one based on the spell’s shape and color.
Splash art was the last one I did. They give you a cropped piece of the artwork. My process is usually trying to remember champion poses or color schemes. Today’s was a bit obscure, took me a while to place the background details and the little bit of the champion I could see. Guessed a couple of champs from the same region before landing on the right one.
So yeah, that was my Loldle adventure for today. Got most of them, missed one. Not too bad. It’s a fun little brain teaser to get the day started. Definitely keeps my League knowledge somewhat sharp, or at least reminds me how much I’ve forgotten!
