Okay, so folks kept asking me how I got that internet thing working inside Infinity Craft. It wasn’t exactly straightforward, let me tell ya. Took a bit of fiddling around.

My First Attempts Were Rubbish
First off, I just assumed, you know, maybe it was in the settings menu somewhere? Dug through all the options, display, controls, sound… nothing. Absolutely zilch. Then I thought, maybe it’s a craftable item? So, I started chucking random stuff onto the crafting table. Wood, stone, iron, even diamonds – hoping some magic combination would pop up. Nope. Wasted a good chunk of resources doing that, felt pretty dumb afterwards.
I spent ages just looking at blocks, wondering if one of them secretly did it. Like, maybe the Command Block? Nah, that’s for server stuff mostly. The Observer block? Nope, just detects changes. I was getting frustrated, thinking maybe it wasn’t even possible, just some rumor floating around.
Figuring Out the Real Deal
Then I remembered seeing some weird glowing stones deep underground while mining. Called ’em Charged Crystals, I think. Had a few lying around in a chest. And someone mentioned something about Network Fibers dropped by those annoying flying robot things in the sky islands biome. So, I went hunting. Took forever to get enough fibers, those things are zippy.
Back at my base, I started messing around with the crafting again, this time with the crystals and fibers. Here’s what finally worked for the main part, the Signal Receiver block:
- Charged Crystals in the top corners.
- Network Fibers running down the sides.
- A Redstone block in the middle.
- Some Iron ingots filling the rest.
Boom! Got this weird looking block, the Signal Receiver. Looked promising.
Setting It Up Was Another Thing
Just placing the block on the ground did nothing. Figures. I remembered reading somewhere, maybe on an old forum post I barely recall, that signal stuff needs height. So, I built this ugly tower out of cobblestone, way up high. Placed the Signal Receiver right on top.
Still nothing. Then I realised, duh, it probably needs power. Not just Redstone power, something more… potent. Had to craft a Quantum Battery. That thing was a pain, needed Nether Stars and some other rare drops I barely had. Slapped the battery next to the receiver block.
The receiver lit up! Success, right? Well, almost. I had to right-click the block. It opened this super basic menu. Just one button: “Scan for Networks”. I clicked it. A little progress bar, blocky style, filled up slowly.

And then… bam! A little screen appeared on the block itself. It wasn’t like, full web browsing, don’t get crazy. More like a basic terminal or a simple page viewer. Enough to check the game wiki or maybe access some pre-approved community pages directly from within the game, without alt-tabbing out. Pretty neat!
So yeah, that’s how I did it. Lots of running around, gathering weird stuff, building a stupid tower, and one very expensive battery. But hey, now I can look stuff up without minimizing the game. Totally worth it… I think.
