Okay, so I was messing around the other day, trying to get my Persona compendium lookin’ a bit more complete in Persona 3 Reload. You know how it is, gotta catch ’em all, right? Anyway, I noticed a gap, and the name Sarasvati popped into my head. Think she’s part of the Priestess crowd. Needed to figure out how to get her.

First thing I did was pop into the Velvet Room. Always gotta check the fusion possibilities there, see what Igor suggests, or just mess around with the options. Spent a bit flicking through the combinations, kinda like lookin’ through an old recipe book.
After a bit of trial and error, virtually speaking, I saw a potential path. It looked like combining an Emperor Persona with a Hierophant Persona might just do the trick. This felt right for getting Sarasvati.
Getting the Ingredients
Alright, time to gather the materials. Checked my current stock. For the Emperor, I already had an Oberon hangin’ around. Remember catching that little fairy king dude earlier, probably somewhere in the Arqa block of Tartarus. So that was one sorted, easy peasy.
The Hierophant was another story. Didn’t have the right one on hand immediately. Based on the levels and what I saw in the fusion search, looked like Shiisaa was a good bet. You know, that guardian dog-lion looking Persona? Yeah, him. Had to go back into Tartarus for a specific hunt. Took a little bit of grinding, running through floors I’d already cleared, bumping into shadows until Shuffle Time popped up with Shiisaa’s card. Finally grabbed him after maybe fifteen, twenty minutes of searching around.
Doing the Fusion Dance
Okay, with Oberon and Shiisaa both in my roster, I headed back to the Velvet Room entrance. That blue door is always a welcome sight when you’re ready to fuse.
Inside, Igor gave his usual creepy-yet-calm welcome. Got straight down to business. Selected the ‘Fuse Personas’ option, then went for the ‘Dyad Fusion’ (or just the normal two-persona fusion, whatever they call it).
- Selected Oberon first. Saw his stats pop up.
- Then selected Shiisaa. Locked that one in too.
The result screen immediately showed Sarasvati. Looked like the elegant Persona I was expecting. The level seemed about right too, fitting in with where I was progress-wise. No warning messages or anything, so it looked like a clean fusion.
Time to commit. I hit the confirmation button. Watched the standard Persona fusion animation – the lights, the swirling energy, the whole shebang. It’s always kinda cool to watch.

The Result: Sarasvati!
And there she was! Sarasvati joined the team. Took a quick peek at her starting skills – think she had some healing spells like Media, maybe some support stuff? Can’t recall exactly off the top of my head now, but looked useful enough. The main thing was, the fusion worked perfectly.
Felt good ticking that one off the list. Adding Sarasvati to the Compendium is always satisfying. One step closer to completing the whole thing. Now, gotta figure out who I’m gonna fuse next…
