Okay, so I needed to check the Brewers vs Dodgers record the other day. It wasn’t for anything major, just got curious after seeing some highlights and thinking about past matchups. You know how one thought leads to another when you’re looking at sports stuff.

First thing I did, obviously, was hop on the computer. Just opened up a browser and typed in something simple like ‘brewers dodgers head to head record’. Pretty standard stuff.
Got a bunch of results back right away. Lots of news articles about recent games, scores, upcoming series. That’s usually how it goes. Useful, but not quite what I was looking for. I wanted the bigger picture, the all-time history between them.
So, I refined my search a bit. Tried adding ‘all time’ to the search terms. Clicked on one of the big sports statistics sites – you know the ones, they usually have everything if you can find it.
Digging Through the Stats
Navigating these sites can sometimes be a pain. They pack so much information in. Had to find the baseball section, then look for team-vs-team records. Took a couple of clicks.
- First found the current season stats. Not it.
- Then found playoff history. Closer, but still not the full picture.
- Finally located the head-to-head matchup finder section. Bingo.
Typed in Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. It crunched the numbers for a second.
And there it was. The complete regular season record, postseason record, the whole deal, right back to whenever they first started playing each other regularly. It laid out wins and losses for each side.
Actually finding it wasn’t too hard, just took a few minutes of clicking past the immediate news clutter. It confirmed some things I kind of figured, but it’s always good to see the actual numbers instead of just guessing or going by feel.
So yeah, that was my little mission. Got the data I wanted. Just a simple lookup, really, but sometimes you just gotta check the facts yourself. Satisfied my curiosity for the day.
